F.A.Q.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question? We might have and answer below 🙂

Q. What is your production time?

A. Most items will be sent to print in 24-36 hours of your order completion.  Most items will ship out from our print house in 3-6 days if not sooner.

Q: What are the shipping times?

A: Most Clingdom  products will be shipped using UPS.  UPS basic ground service from California (where we’re located) varies from 1-6 business days.  UPS does not deliver on weekends or holidays unless Saturday delivery is specified. Do not count weekends in your delivery timeline as days (business days only). Please allow the proper lead times for time-sensitive projects. We cannot be held liable for late projects due to a miscalculation in delivery dates via your chosen shipping method. We recommend that you plan your order carefully to receive of your banner at least a couple of days in advance of your event.

All banners five feet and under on their shortest side will be rolled and shipped in standard corrugated boxes.  All banners over five feet on their shortest side will be folded and shipped in a square box.

Q. May I use a credit card with someone else’s name?

 A. For security purposes, the billing address entered on the site must match the address on file for the credit or debit card used.

Q. How do I know that you have received my order and how do I obtain a receipt?

 A. Once you have submitted your order, an order confirmation containing your final order total, billing and contact information will be emailed to you.

Q: What is a grommet?

A: A metal reinforcing ring useful for mounting your banner. They come standard in corners and approximately every two feet unless otherwise specified by you. See a grommet here

Q. What is the size of your grommets?

A: We use #2 grommets, which are approximately 3/8”.  Grommets are placed every 2′ standard.

Q: What is a pole pocket?

A: A pole pocket used on the sides of a horizontal banner can be useful for displaying a banner with vertical stakes driven into the ground (dirt, etc). They are also often used on lamp post banners and other vertical banners as mounting points. Lastly they can be used to keep a banner rigid and weighted by inserting poles/rods/sticks made of metal or wood. This allows vertical banners to hang midair with some structural rigidity. See a pole pocket here

Q: Do you do custom work?

A: Yes, we do. We can either work from your idea or create a custom piece for you or we can print banners from your artwork. Additional charges may apply.

Q: How much do you charge for custom graphics?

A. Custom art fees are based on the size and complexity of your design so they must be estimated on a case-by-case basis.

Q: I would like a font that I don’t see on your website.

A. If you really, really want another font that we are not offering… Please find your alternative from the Google fonts repository and we will work to accommodate your request.

Q. How do I clean my banner and store it ?

A. The best method of cleaning your outdoor vinyl banner is to lay it flat (if possible) on a clean area, table or floor. It is recommended that you use a mild dishwashing liquid and warm water to rinse. Do not use any harsh abrasive or petroleum type cleaners. Clean and dry each side before storing. You must ensure it is completely dry prior to roll up and storage. Place your banner back in box and store it flat, not vertical. If it is standing up vertically, it may wilt and warp causing wrinkles over time.

Q: Are my files okay to print?

A: Please “zoom” or “magnify” your image on your screen until the image is the size that it might appear on your banner to get a preview of image quality. Vector Artwork (i.e. Adobe Illustrator) can be blown up to any size. All other artwork should meet minimum resolution for good results: ideal minimum 100dpi at actual printed size. Accepted File Formats: AI, EPS, PDF, PSD, JPG, TIF.

Q. Will the printed banner/cling look exactly like the proof displayed on my monitor?

 A. Due to monitor calibrations and color codes used for printing vs screen displays (RGB VS CMYK), there may be a difference in the display color on your screen from the printed color.

Q:Do you print on different materials?

A: Yes, we can print on a variety of different materials including but not limited to  Styrene, Fabric, PVC board, Foam Core, Gator Foam, Coroplast and Aluminum.

Q: What is your return policy?

 A. As each order is printed to order to your specifications, and we do not stock merchandise in house, we cannot accept returns.
We understand that each computer monitor displays colors differently and cannot guarantee that the colors will match what you see on your screen.
Also, we’re always happy to accommodate special requests so if you have any particular details you’d like to include or if you’d like to see a preview before processing, just make a note in the comment section and we’ll do our best to meet your needs.
